Using SelfieTime

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. Keep account credentials private, provide accurate information, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Event hosts are responsible for inviting appropriate participants and explaining their event rules.

Consent and real-world safety

Only photograph or include someone in face matching when they know about it and agree. Do not trespass, drive while using SelfieTime, enter unsafe areas, or pressure anyone to participate. Stop immediately if a person asks not to be photographed or contacted. A game objective never overrides consent, venue rules, or the law.

Acceptable conduct

Do not use SelfieTime to harass, stalk, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, exploit, or endanger anyone. Do not upload unlawful, intimate, hateful, deceptive, or rights-infringing content; attempt unauthorized access; scrape participant data; disrupt the service; or use face matching for surveillance or identification outside the feature a participant joined.

We may investigate reports, remove content, limit features, end games or events, suspend accounts, and preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary for safety, security, or legal compliance.

Your content

You retain rights in content you submit. You give SelfieTime a limited license to host, process, resize, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you use. You confirm that you have the necessary permission to submit the content.

The service

SelfieTime may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Face matching can be wrong and must not be used for important decisions about a person. The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Apple terms

Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting SelfieTime.

Reports, account deletion, and contact

Report unsafe conduct, abusive content, or an account concern at simon@apricotstudios.ca. Include the game or event name, relevant username, and what happened; do not attach sensitive photos unless we ask for them.

iOS users can delete an account from Profile → Delete account. For other requests, email support. We may update these terms and will post the revised effective date here.
